More from the foggy day last month — and, ever so slightly a nod to my nephew Edward and his love of Mecha.
I’m not gonna say what this is, but it was a happy accident, and I absolutely love it. And in naming it so, I fully recognize that it looks a lot like a Morris Louis piece. And I hope wherever he is, he’s still making art with a spoonful of chaos in it.
More powerline craziness. Like the siege of London was perpetrated by powerlines, and not airplanes.
Sounds like I’m pulling names out of a hat, right? Yet another heavily modified photo from the foggy day photoshoot.
truth be told, I have a file on my computer where I keep a list of cool names, typos and phrases that I like. And I had to dip into that file this morning because I couldn’t think of a name for this one. Flying Cutoff. That’ll work just fine.
Still not sure about the name, but it’ll do for now.
Same corner of 820 West and I-30 in Fort Worth, different angle. And, obviously — heavily edited. Reminds me of a Brady photograph from the civil war….

Something new – I believe I’ll be doing closeups of sections of this, but not tonight.
16 x 20 print
Another piece with one main image, with five ancillary images that are details from the main image.
Trying something new – five pieces, four of them closeups of the main piece….
Not sure what to think, yet.
